Every year, the global movement Giving Tuesday reminds us of the power of generosity and kindness. This year, we invite you to join us at RTR Spay and Neuter to make a real difference in the lives of animals and our community on the island of RoatƔn.
š” Why RTR Spay and Neuter Needs Your Support
At RTR, our mission is simple but vital: to increase access to hold free Spay and Neuter Clinics twice a year and promote responsible pet ownership across RoatƔn.
We offer free spay/neuter clinicsĀ to help control pet overpopulation, prevent unwanted litters, and improve animal health ā whether the pet is owned or community-animal.
Through outreach and education, we work to connect pet owners with veterinarians, and share resources about proper care, hygiene, and long-term pet health.
Past clinics have already helped hundreds ā in 2023, 250 animals were altered over two days; in 2024, 464 animals during another clinic, and again more in 2025. As of August 2025 we have spayed and neutered 1,303 animals.
Because of you, animals get a second chance ā healthy, cared for, and no longer threatened
by overpopulation or neglect.
ā¤ļø What Giving Tuesday Can Do for RTR
Giving Tuesday is more than a day ā itās a chance to transform lives. By supporting RTR, you help us:
Cover surgical, medical, and after-care costsĀ for spay/neuter clinics so they can stay free for the community.
Expand our education & outreach programsĀ ā from bilingual materials to animated videos that teach proper pet care.
Provide continued veterinary access and resourcesĀ to pet owners who might otherwise go without.
Every donation ā big or small ā brings us closer to a future where every pet in RoatĆ”n has a safe, healthy home.
š How You Can Help TODAY (This Giving Tuesday)
DonateĀ ā a one-time or recurring gift helps keep our clinics free and sustainable.
Share our missionĀ ā spread the word about RTR on social media, email, or with friends and family. Awareness creates action.
Volunteer your time or skillsĀ ā even sharing posts, helping with outreach, or organizing mini-fundraisers helps.
Advocate for responsible pet ownershipĀ ā talk about the benefits of spaying/neutering for animal & community health.
š¶ Why Spay/Neuter Matters ā For Pets andĀ People
Spaying or neutering pets offers huge benefits:
Healthier, longer lives ā reduced risks of cancers and dangerous infections.
Better behavior ā fewer tendencies to roam, fight, or spray/mark territory.
Helps prevent the birth of unwanted litters, reducing stray populations and easing pressure on shelters.
When our pets are healthy and our community is educated, we all benefit ā from happier families to safer, cleaner neighborhoods.
š From Our Hearts ā A Message of Gratitude & Hope
This Giving Tuesday, we at RTR Spay and Neuter believe in the power of kindness. When people come together ā across borders and oceans ā they create real change. Youāre not just giving money. Youāre giving hope, health, safety, and second chances.
Will you join us?
With your support, we can ensure every animal in RoatĆ”n has a chance to live safe, loved, and free from the threat of overpopulation. Donate, share, volunteer ā be part of something bigger.
